Our new project

This year for Easter we got the kids some baby chicks, and it has been a blast! The kids have really loved our new pets. They have been really good at taking care of them, and I've been proud to see how responsible they have been. They love to take their camp chairs out next to the coop and chase the chickens around until they get lucky and catch one and then they hold it in their laps and pet it just like they do our cat. The chickens are really funny to watch, I've enjoyed them more than I thought I would too. Now if they'd only grow faster and start laying eggs, I'd be really happy.
